Southern Water Tribe Seaweed Noodles
Ingredients:
- 1.7 ounce container of Nori Furikake
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- Hot broth of your choice
Steps:
- Grind the furikake into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle, spice grinder, or coffee grinder.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the ground furikake and the flour.
- In a small bowl, beat the eggs and water together and pour it into the center of the seasoned flour.
- Mix together the ingredients until well combined and a dough is formed. Knead until completely workable.
- Roll the dough as flat as possible into the shape of a rectangle.
- Flour the surface of the dough and roll it up.
- Cut the roll into as many thin rounds as possible and unroll.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, drop in the noodles, and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Strain the noodles, running cold water over noodles.
- Place the noodles in a bowl and pour the hot broth over the noodles.
