Southern Water Tribe Seaweed Noodles

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Grind the furikake into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle, spice grinder, or coffee grinder.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the ground furikake and the flour.
  3. In a small bowl, beat the eggs and water together and pour it into the center of the seasoned flour.
  4. Mix together the ingredients until well combined and a dough is formed. Knead until completely workable.
  5. Roll the dough as flat as possible into the shape of a rectangle.
  6. Flour the surface of the dough and roll it up.
  7. Cut the roll into as many thin rounds as possible and unroll.
  8. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, drop in the noodles, and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  9. Strain the noodles, running cold water over noodles.
  10. Place the noodles in a bowl and pour the hot broth over the noodles.
